Writer, poet, and social visionary, Angela Morgan (1875-1957) was probably born in Yazoo County, Mississippi. A reporter in Chicago and New York, Morgan's poems, articles, and short stories appeared in most of the major magazines of the time. Between 1914 to 1951 she published one novel, a collection of short stories, and some fourteen books of poems, including Creator Man (1929). From the description of Papers, 1929-1931 (inclusive).
